Clouds Get in Your Eyes

PICTURE:  shaft of light beams like a blue Jedi sabre into the east, slicing past Mt. Clark

When I first moved here, what I sought was a mountain view.  I naively thought that mountains would be the ultimate visual attraction filling the world with beauty.

Boy was I wrong.  The mountains, ridges, and desert are mere wardrobe accessories to the drama of the clouds.

There is far more emotion, movement, color, and drama in a single cloud rolling over the Sierras than there is in that entire naked mountain chain.

Reno cityscapes are boring until clouds invade to paint new dynamic stories.

Clouds turn the moon into a jewel.

See for yourself.  Clouds own the landscape.  Clouds turn the Meadows into living paintings.

Boy was I wrong.  The mountains, ridges, and desert are mere wardrobe accessories to the drama of the skies and clouds.

There is far more emotion, movement, color, and drama in a single cloud rolling over the Sierras than there is in the entire bare mountain chain.

Reno cityscapes are boring until clouds drop in to paint a dynamic story.

Clouds turn the moon into a jewel.
